Shar Pei Description

A fairly large, powerfully built breed of dog with a wide muzzle and heavily wrinkled skin giving the Shar Pei its incredibly distinctive look. Their ears are small and folded forwards and their tail is high set and reminiscent of a piglet's tail as it curls tightly over the dog's back. They can be a range of colours from sandy through to black.

Shar Pei Character

The Shar Pei is a loyal breed of dog, they are very playful and very protective. They can be exceptionally difficult to train as they are very stubborn and can also be territorial. If trained young they are relatively easy to teach but if left until they are older the task can be very hard.
