Norwich Terrier Description

The Norwich Terrier is a sturdy, small terrier with a rounded body shape and adorable fox-like muzzle. The small ears stand erect and their eyes are oval shaped. They have a high set tail and straight, short legs. Their coat is wiry in texture and can be wheaten, red, black with tan and sometimes there can be white markings.

Norwich Terrier Character

Amongst one of the smallest terriers within the group the Norwich Terrier does not allow its small stature to impede its zest for life in the slightest, this breed is a big dog in a small dog’s body! They were bred to work and due to this they love to be on the go and adore chasing toys. They are a typical terrier and care should always be taken around smaller animals, The Norwich Terrier can also be stubborn and wilful so although they have the intelligence to train easily it can prove to be challenging. They are tenacious little dogs and strong for their size but they are also extremely loyal and affectionate coupled with a very playful nature.
