Italian Spinone Description

The Italian Spinone is a squarely built breed. They have a wiry, rough coat that is protective against the rain; the fur is a medium length on the body and longer on the dog’s face. They have a gorgeous, distinctive beard which when coupled with their moustache and eyebrows give them a delightfully whimsical appearance. The Italian Spinone is available in solid white, orange and white and orange or brown roan.

Italian Spinone Character

Italian Spinones are gentle and responsive dogs who love to please; they are only a challenge to train due to their stubbornness. They are very playful and extremely enthusiastic but they also possess a calm and gentle side. They make poor watchdogs as although they are wary of strangers they are just too friendly. Italian Spinones enjoy voicing their opinion but not in a bark, they tend to be vocal in a yodelling way!
