French Bulldog Description

French Bulldogs are small, compact dogs with erect almost bat-like ears. Their face is likened to that of a Pug, with an undershot muzzle. The tail can be either straight or cork-screwed. Their coat is short and is either fawn or brindle with white.

French Bulldog Character

French Bulldogs are exceptionally affectionate and intelligent little dogs. They are a challenge to train as they are highly stubborn. They will tolerate children if they are taught to respect them from an early age, they do not appreciate excitable children! The French Bulldog is prone to jealousy and demands a lot of individual attention from its owner/s. Like other Bulldog breeds it is susceptible to breathing difficulties and care needs to be taken, especially in the hot weather.
