Foxhound Description

A muscular yet elegant breed of dog, with a long neck and muzzle. Their ears are pendent styled and long and the tail is long and tapering. Their coat is short and is typically tri-coloured in black, white and tan.

Foxhound Character

Foxhounds are designed for speed and strength and have been developed to 'hunt' in packs. They are responsive and friendly and like children but it should also be remembered that the Foxhound was bred to live in packs. They do best when living with another of their own breed.
