Whippet Description

A small and slender sighthound with a tapering muzzle and deep chest. They have an arched neck and loin. Their ears are very small and rose-shaped, and the tail is long with an upward curve at the tip. Their coat is sleek and short and can be brindle, black, red, fawn and grey with white.

Whippet Character

The Whippet is an extremely patient, gentle and very tolerant breed of dog, they are very quiet. They prefer older children as they fear being handled too roughly by youngsters. They can be highly strung and they tend to learn fairly slowly making training a Whippet a challenge.
