Welsh Springer Spaniel Description

The Welsh Springer Spaniel is a compact, medium sized spaniel with a beautifully silky coat which can be either slightly wavy or straight. The colour is always a rich, dark red coupled with white. There is feathering on the chest, legs, ears, tail and undersides. The ears are typical spaniel ears, fairly long and pendant styled.

Welsh Springer Spaniel Character

The Welsh Springer Spaniel shares all the traits of the other breeds in the spaniel family. They are friendly, loyal and devoted to their family. Energetic and always on the go, they are a very busy breed of dog, only truly happy when they are doing something. They adore children and are high spirited dogs. Very intelligent and easy to train. A lovable and affectionate companion.
