Tibetan Mastiff Description

A powerful Mastiff type dog with a massive head, their ears are pendent styled. The tail is beautifully plumed and generally carried high over the dog's back. They have a lovely coat with a ruff around the neck. They can be black, brown, black with tan markings or shades of gold.

Tibetan Mastiff Character

The Tibetan Mastiff is a natural watchdog and will protect its family and territory with all of its might. They are a loving and affectionate breed of dog but they can be stubborn and slightly dominant. They are intelligent but couple this with their stubbornness and you have a very big dog that is difficult to train. Early training is advised with this beautiful breed.
