The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is a fairly large and compact terrier, it has a rectangular shaped head with a short muzzle. Their ears fold forwards and are triangular in their shape. Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Character

This is a very sweet natured and even tempered breed of dog that adores its family, it will alert you of strangers but then probably lick them to death therefore not making it the ideal choice as a watchdog. A very intelligent terrier that seems to keep its puppy nature throughout its life, friendly and playful. It does like to give chase though so be careful around other animals. A lively and affectionate breed of dog.
