Saint Bernard Description

A very large, muscular dog with a powerful head and jaws. The ears are fairly large and pendent styled and the tail is long and high set. There are actually two types of coat, rough or smooth, but both are dense and white with tan, red, mahogany and black markings.

Saint Bernard Character

The classic gentle giant the Saint Bernard is friendly and affectionate and remarkably trustworthy. They learn very well but are known to be slow learners. They rarely utter a bark and they love being in the company of children, a strong breed but very gentle and loving.
