Pointer Description

The Pointer is a muscular and exceptionally athletic breed of dog. They have a long, square muzzle and medium sized ears that hang down. Their tail is straight and tapering. The coat is short and very sleek and is mainly white in colour with liver, lemon, black or a reddish colour either patched or speckled throughout.

Pointer Character

The Pointer is an especially sensitive breed, they are intelligent and train easily but they do not like to be shouted at and will run for cover if you raise your voice. They are very friendly and loyal but would not make a good watchdog due to them being so friendly. They have very fine, thin skin and so like to be kept away from draughts and in the warm.
