Newfoundland Description

Newfoundlands are a large breed of dog with a broad head and fairly short, square muzzle. Their ears are triangular and pendent and the tail is long and very bushy. They can be black, grey, brown, bronze or a combination of black and blue or black and white.

Newfoundland Character

The Newfoundland is a wonderfully gentle dog they are large but totally harmless. They have a natural life-saving instinct built into them, if you swim with them they will actually drag you out of the water to 'save' you! They are great fun for families as they are so tolerant and patient.
