Lhasa Apso Description

The Lhasa Apso is a long coated, small but sturdy dog with a medium length muzzle. Their gorgeous coat drapes to the ground and they have a high set tail that is carried over the dog’s back permitting the coat to cascade down. Colours include cream, gold, honey, grey, brown and black and white.

Lhasa Apso Character

Lhasa Apsos are very intelligent little dogs but can prove to be a challenge to train due to their ability to be extremely obstinate and independent. They respond best to a non-coercive training method as they are very sensitive dogs who do not take kindly to raised voices. The Lhasa Apso is a friendly breed and they adore being in the company of children.
