Irish Wolfhound Description

A very large, muscular dog with a long tapering head, arched neck and loin. Their chest is deep and their ears are fairly small. The coat is shaggy with a bushy beard and eyebrows. Colours are grey, black, white, red or brindle.

The Irish Wolfhound is a friendly breed of dog that does not bark much at all. They adore children and other animals. They are hopeless as watchdogs as they are much too friendly. The breed is especially calm.
