Hungarian Vizsla Description

The Hungarian Vizsla is a perfect example of a hunting dog, it displays strength, stamina and beauty. The head is broad and they have a slightly domed skull with a long muzzle and strong jaws. Both the neck and body are muscular. Their coat is short and can be a solid golden colour through to a rusty or dark mahogany colour.

Hungarian Vizsla Character

The Hungarian Viszla is a true hunting dog that excels at tracking, retrieving and as a faithful watchdog. Due to their exceedingly high prey drive they require special training around smaller animals. They can be very excitable and very demanding dogs and are therefore not recommended for the novice owner.
