Greyhound Description

The Greyhound is an exceptionally elegant breed of dog with its deep chest and long, tapering muzzle. They have arched loins and small, folded back ears. Their long tail is carried low and has a slight curve at the tip. Their coat is short and comes in numeorus colour variations including fawn, brindle and black and white.

Greyhound Character

Greyhounds are calm and very intelligent, they are wonderful with children. They do possess a natural hunting instinct though and if they pick up a scent whilst out they might bolt, they are known to have a dislike of cats and to give chase. They are a sprinting dog therefore they will have outbursts of running and then they will prefer to rest! They do not have the endurance for long distance walks.
