Gordon Setter Description

The Gordon Setter is a tall but robust breed with a deep chest and long square muzzle. They have long, pendent styled ears that are slightly pointed. Their tail is long and feathered. They have a beautiful silky coat that can be either straight or wavy and is black and tan in colour.

Gordon Setter Character

Gordon Setters are gentle and affectionate dogs that are friendly and accept children well. They can become hyperactive if not exercised enough though. They have a stubborn streak and therefore can be difficult to train. They need to be introduced to other animals sensibly as they are essentially a hunting breed.
