English Shepherd Dog Description

In both their appearance and their nature the English Shepherd Dog is not unlike the Border Collie. They have straight or wavy medium length coats. Their head is rounded with folded ears that when the dog is alert perk upright. They have a beautiful fluffy tail and come in many colours including sable and white, black and white, black and tan and tri-coloured.

If you are looking for a relaxed breed keep looking! The English Shepherd Dog is an active breed, they are a herding, working breed of dog and adore being active. They are highly intelligent and easy to train but can be stubborn with an independent streak. Generally they make good watchdogs as they are wary of strangers. Good with children and other animals especially if raised with them. They are a very busy breed of dog and do need to be kept very active.
