Brittany Spaniel Description

The Brittany Spaniel is a medium sized and squarely built breed of dog. They are compact but have fairly long legs; their ears are highly set and triangular in shape. The tail is short, coat colours include orange and white, liver and white, black and white or roan and tri-coloured.

Brittany Spaniel Character

Brittany Spaniels are extremely active and eager to please; they are also very affectionate and friendly. They require plenty of exercise and also mental stimulation to keep them busy. Being a gundog they pick scents up quickly and do have a tendency to wander off. They can live with children but they can be boisterous due to this they are not recommended for the novice owner.
