Border Collie Description
The Border Collie is a well proportioned breed of dog that oozes agility and perfect balance in its appearance. They have an alert expression with either erect or semi-erect ears. Their coats can be long or short and colours include the well known black and white, brown and white, red and white or blue, red and chocolate merle.Border Collie Character
Border Collies are not a breed for the faint hearted they require a considerable amount of exercise and then some more! They are always ready to ‘work,’ lively and extremely alert. They are exceptionally loyal to their masters and will travel to the end of the earth for them, they always pre-guess where their owners are going and arrive there first. Due to their extraordinary herding instinct they are not ideal for younger children and have been known to nip through impatience.
