Bedlington Terrier Description

Bedlington Terriers are a lean looking and long-legged dog. They have an arched back and a particularly narrow, sloping head. Their coat is similar in appearance to that of a sheep’s coat, the hair is especially dense and looks woollen. Colours include black, blue, tan, sand and liver. They have small, deep-set eyes and hanging, pendent ears.

Bedlington Terrier Character

The Bedlington Terrier is quite a dominant breed of dog, they like to be in charge and seem to prefer larger dogs to smaller ones. They are fast and capable of galloping at high speeds when exercising. They are small but display great courage when required and are very loyal to their owners. The Bedlington Terrier needs socialization when young to ensure that it will not take its dominant streak too far.
